There are stories you read which are enjoyable, but require too
much of a stretch of the imagination for complete acceptance. The
stories of the two worlds Midkemia and Kelewan ~ sometimes connected by a
rift in space and time ~ are so well crafted by Raymond Elias Feist that
the landscape and history seem familiar. The characters too, belong
to their land and to each other in a way that makes the reader feel that
they too belong within these histories ...
I would suggest, if you have not read any of these novels before, that you start at the beginning with at least Magician: Apprentice and Magician: Master.
